We have a 15 month old and are 12 weeks prego!

Brylianna sweetest little girl you will be 15 months old and we are so excited that you are going to be a big sister! :)
I am 12  and a half weeks pregnant with your little sibling. We are so happy and blessed and excited to see our little family grow.

You are at such a fun, cute, stage right now. You are walking everywhere and love to carry lots of things while you walk now. You like to carry your little lamb blanket that you nap with all over the house. You are a pro at stairs and think they are so much fun to climb up and down. We don't have very many at our house so whenever we go somewhere with stairs you love it.
We got to see your Grandma and Grandpa Hollien and Buhr over Thanksgiving and we were able to visit for a week.
You ate snow for the first time the other day, but haven't played in it yet because we don't have any snow pants for you and it hasn't snowed that much yet.
You say bye bye while waving now and sometimes say that when we put you down for a nap.
You give kisses now, especially for daddy
You have thee cutest giggle ever
You point at lots of things
You love people and are just so friendly to everyone
You are still such a happy little girl, you have the biggest smile and sweetest personality most of the time
You have 8 teeth and are working on your 9th
You imitate everything we do. You try to blow your nose everytime you see a tissue, you tried to crochet like mommy is learning how to, and you try to put your shoes on.
You can point to your nose
You are starting to learn how to feed yourself better with a fork and a spoon
You shake your head every time we say no

We love you!

I am 12 weeks prego since Friday and we had our first Dr appointment 2 weeks ago. We got to see little baby on an ultrasound and they were already kicking and moving around all over the place even though I can't feel it yet. With Brylianna the placenta was in the front so it took a lot longer to feel her kicks and my Dr thinks it will be the same way with this one too.

I am feeling pretty good, maybe a little bit more nauseous than with Brylianna, but thank goodness I haven't thrown up with this pregnancy, which was how I was with Brylianna. BUT that still doesn't mean I feel amazing lol. I still get nauseous and my stomach doesn't always feel great, I am starving all the time, have to pee all the time, am super tired and fatigued and ya know, the normal pregnancy symptoms.

One thing I never thought about being harder having a toddler and being pregnant is the super sense of smell you get when you are prego. Changing poopy diapers is the worst some days lol! Pat is really good and sweet to help though, thankfully.

I have been able to stay pretty active so far and have barely had to modify my workouts. But I do need to take more breaks and drink more water during workouts. Since we found out I was this far along pregnant, that means I was pregnant when we went to Zion's and hiked for 3 days and did Angel's landing, so that is kind of fun!
I remember a couple of weeks before we found out I was pregnant Pat and I did a 6 mile hike and I was DYING! lol Now I know why!!! It's funny how fast you get out of breath when you are prego. Sometimes I get Brylianna ready for the day and have to stop and catch my breath lol.

I do find that on days I workout, even if I am feeling like absolute crap and have no energy before my workout, it ALWAYS helps :) It seems counter intuitive sometimes, but I am such a believer in being active! As long as I don't over do it, it gives me more energy and helps me to feel better. That being said, working out while raising a toddler and being pregnant, I eat a TON everyday. I eat 6-8 times a day. Pat is so sick of me asking him what I should eat. It is good and such a blessing that I can keep food down, but sometimes I am actually sick of eating because I eat so much, but I need to eat a lot or I start feeling not so good when I start to get hungry!

I have gained 6 pounds this pregnancy, with Brylianna I had gained about 10 pounds at this point. I am still eating a ton like I did with Brylianna but I think my beachbody workouts I have been doing have really helped me. And it is crazy because I actually felt like I was in the best shape of my life in like August-September and didn't know I was pregnant in September. I never would have thought I would be in better shape being just over a year post partum and pregnant than I was with our first baby!!! :)

We are excited for the Holidays and I can't wait to blog about more pregnancy updates! Yay for being pregnant again so that I could get back to blogging more regularly! lol!

Thanks for keeping up with us. Much love!!!! The Buhrs :)

Also this past week we got to go to a fun Christmas activity. We went to Layton to a cute burger place and had burgers with our good friends Alyssa and Scott and their two cute little girls and we went on a hayride to look at the Christmas lights around the city park. I loved it! I love doing Holiday things as a family and building those memories and traditions to cherish forever :)

Oh I love these two so much!!!
Movie night, we are in the middle of a Harry Potter marathon!

I crocheted you a little hat and I love how it turned out! You make everything look cute though

That happy little face
You still love to read :)

Spaghetti!

We still go on walks, but not quite as many since it is getting colder.

November 12, 2016

Yesterday you took 8 steps all by yourself! This is the farthest you have ever walked by yourself. Just a couple days ago was when you finally got brave enough to take a couple of steps by yourself. We have been trying to get you to walk for months! You love walking to mommy or daddy but it is just working up that balance and courage to take those steps! Good job baby girl!

The other day you were in your highchair in the kitchen and I was doing dishes and I turned around and you had grabbed a pillow from a nearby chair and laid it on your tray and laid your arms and your head on the pillow. It was soooooo cute! Apparently it was nap time.

You LOVE to read books :) I love that so much. You will grab a book and hold onto it and walk along the furniture or hold on to it and crawl over to me or your daddy and say "up" until we hold you on our lap and read. It is just adorable. I love it. And it is one of the only times you will sit still and cuddle now days :) We have read Dr. Suess's ABC book WAY too many times and we have it so memorized. It is your favorite. We also need to expand our book collection. We need more hard cover books that have pages that you can't tear. I have a feeling you will get some books for Christmas that is coming up.

You are so sweet, and cute, and curious, I just love it! Keep growing baby girl, but not too fast :)

Reading books

We love to go on walks and crochet with Brittany and Charles!
Hiking with mom

Playing in the leaves!
You love the sand. You just sit there and pull up handfuls with both hands and let it run through your fingers and do it all over again. It is so cute to watch you be curious and learn and have fun
