Camping 2018

June 2018
Corbin and I got hand, foot, and mouth disease. Poor little Corbin was pretty sad, he maybe slept one hour for the first night he got it and was just crying and squirming the rest of the night. We had stayed up late to pack to go camping but we postponed it for the following week when Corbin started to feel better. Poor little cutie. In spite of it all he was back to his happy little self a couple days later. He got better fairly fast thank goodness.
We went camping during Pat's days off in Ashley National Forest a little ways aways from Flaming Gorge. It was beautiful. The kid's were so stinking cute the whole entire time, and Pat's parents were sweet and let us borrow their camper, we are used to roughing it in tents, so it was fabulous and we felt pretty spoiled. It was so nice to just pay attention to the kids, be off of technology, and enjoy the beautiful scenic outdoors. We loved it. The kids loved the dirt and camping in general.
Brylianna loved sleeping in her purple sleeping bag that Pat got her, she LOVED smores. She carried the bag of marshmallows around for about 20 minutes and then when she got her smore she savored it and took about another 20 minutes to eat it. We camped close to a reservoir and she of course loved throwing rocks in it and could have spent hours doing that. We had campfires and Pat cooked in the dutch oven. We stayed up late and looked at the stars. Brylianna was just super cute. Corbin was the epitomy of being a Happy Camper. He was such a cute happy little camper! He also LOVED the dirt and just running his hands in it. He liked the rocks too. He got a hold of a whisk once and entertained himself for like an hour just playing with it in the dirt. Corbin and Brylianna were super cute in the camper, on the beds they would just roll around and giggle. Corbin was doing this thing were he would be sitting on the bed and then just fall over backward and lay there with both arms out and giggle and smile and then do it all over again. I also had a cute hat with a little pouf on it and it strapped under his chin and I put it on him at night to keep his ears warm and he just looked so darn adorable :)
They did great in the car, Corbin mostly slept and they were good little campers. They both slept pretty good, we didn't really sleep the first night but we all slept wonderful the second night. I will cherish these sweet memories camping with our sweet little ones, they are growing up all too fast right before our eyes. I am going to try to be more patient with them and yell less and just cherish the little moments more!

Good morning
