38 weeks and the "nursery"

38 Weeks oh my goodness it is getting soo close!

Weight gain: I have gained a total of 35 pounds
Sleep: I am still sleeping pretty good actually just uncomfortable and have to switch positions a lot, but really it's not too bad.
Maternity Clothes: I am just trying to make things work because I don't want to buy any more clothes at this point with just a little bit left to go!
Exercise: Still good! I am still walking lots and I just did some toning last night for about half an hour. I always feel better after I do something active. It helps relieve prego aches and pains.

She is moving soo much right now as I am typing this! Also I think I have noticed her getting hiccups the past month, it is just like repetitive little twitches but it is so rythmic it can't be anything else right? It almost feels like she is kicking me but it is too constant and rythmic but sometimes they last for like a super long time! Like 5 minutes straight or longer. I counted up to 80 the other day and then just stopped counting lol.

Cravings: I have wanted one of these like everyday Mmmm

It was my birthday last week and Pat got me a popcorn popper thing to go with the 50 lbs of popcorn he gave me for mothers day ha ha
So if anyone wants to have movie nights you now know where to come :)

We went to our ward campout this past Friday and Saturday and it was super fun. Then we hung out at Porcupine Reservior on Saturday and it felt so nice just to float around in the nice cold water. And yes I did camp at 37 weeks pregnant, now I'll never have another excuse not to go camping lol! It was fun though.

Baby girl your room is all ready for you whenever you are ready to come out. Thanks to my sweet hubby for making my Pinterest dreams become a reality with the cute bookcase turned into a closet for baby girl. BTW I found it on sale for 55 dollars off! I love it! And for anyone who thinks they shouldn't or can't have kids until they have a house and an adorable nursery and everything is perfect,  I'm here to say don't wait. You don't need all that stuff. No, Baby Buhr won't have a real crib, just a used pack n play, no she doesn't have a dresser and closet, just the bookcase, no she doesn't even get new curtains, just ones that were given to us 5 years ago, no she doesn't have her own little room with perfectly hung pictures and a theme, she just shares the tv room with our couch and tv and treadmill , but that is okay! And we even have a lot compared to some people :) I am grateful for that.

37 weeks

So I have been bad at updating my blog lately, life always seems to be busy right?
Here's 36 weeks
Yes I just noticed I have worn the same shorts on the day I take my weekly picture for like the past 4 weeks ha ha. Hey whatever fits at this point! I wear like the same 5 outfits to work every week I swear.

Still going on walks!
And can you believe it here is 37 weeks!

Weight Gain:  34 pounds so far but I think it has leveled off I haven't really gained anything the last several weeks, thank goodness cuz I'm feeling huge right about now.
Baby is still super high and loves my ribs, I think she might have bruised one or something on Sunday evening. It's okay baby girl I know you are just running out of room and probably tall like your dad, but be nice to mommy okay? lol
Exercise:  I am still able to exercise thankfully, I walk anywhere from about 5 miles to 9 miles a day according to my trusty pedometer. I have not been that faithful as far as strength training goes, but still try to get in 1-2 strength training sessions a week. I had a good leg day the other day and my legs were sore for 2 days. But it is getting difficult to do a lot of exercises, as you can imagine, so I tend to do a lot of the same ones for every workout. I still notice more energy and I really haven't had bad back pain this whole pregnancy and I am pretty sure I owe it all to exercising and being active.
Sleep: I wake up often during the night and have to shift positions ( all 2 positions I sleep in, that is ) about 20 times a night, but I usually fall right back asleep so that is good! I slept for 9 hours straight the other night and I think I should count that as one of the last times that will probably happen.

Dr. appointments every week from here on out! We are in the home stretch hopefully. Dr said baby is still really high and we are hoping that she drops within the next couple of weeks or my Dr. said there could be a chance that we might have to do a C section. I am really hoping that doesn't have to happen so we will just have to see how the next couple of weeks go. I think baby girl is really comfortable in there, but who know, I think that could change fairly fast.

Oh I am super happy I haven't really swollen bad. I can still see my ankle bones! Pretty great huh? And I have been lucky that this summer has been a cooler summer or I would have died being pregnant all summer long, so it's the little blessings that make me super grateful sometimes!
