We have a 15 month old and are 12 weeks prego!

Brylianna sweetest little girl you will be 15 months old and we are so excited that you are going to be a big sister! :)
I am 12  and a half weeks pregnant with your little sibling. We are so happy and blessed and excited to see our little family grow.

You are at such a fun, cute, stage right now. You are walking everywhere and love to carry lots of things while you walk now. You like to carry your little lamb blanket that you nap with all over the house. You are a pro at stairs and think they are so much fun to climb up and down. We don't have very many at our house so whenever we go somewhere with stairs you love it.
We got to see your Grandma and Grandpa Hollien and Buhr over Thanksgiving and we were able to visit for a week.
You ate snow for the first time the other day, but haven't played in it yet because we don't have any snow pants for you and it hasn't snowed that much yet.
You say bye bye while waving now and sometimes say that when we put you down for a nap.
You give kisses now, especially for daddy
You have thee cutest giggle ever
You point at lots of things
You love people and are just so friendly to everyone
You are still such a happy little girl, you have the biggest smile and sweetest personality most of the time
You have 8 teeth and are working on your 9th
You imitate everything we do. You try to blow your nose everytime you see a tissue, you tried to crochet like mommy is learning how to, and you try to put your shoes on.
You can point to your nose
You are starting to learn how to feed yourself better with a fork and a spoon
You shake your head every time we say no

We love you!

I am 12 weeks prego since Friday and we had our first Dr appointment 2 weeks ago. We got to see little baby on an ultrasound and they were already kicking and moving around all over the place even though I can't feel it yet. With Brylianna the placenta was in the front so it took a lot longer to feel her kicks and my Dr thinks it will be the same way with this one too.

I am feeling pretty good, maybe a little bit more nauseous than with Brylianna, but thank goodness I haven't thrown up with this pregnancy, which was how I was with Brylianna. BUT that still doesn't mean I feel amazing lol. I still get nauseous and my stomach doesn't always feel great, I am starving all the time, have to pee all the time, am super tired and fatigued and ya know, the normal pregnancy symptoms.

One thing I never thought about being harder having a toddler and being pregnant is the super sense of smell you get when you are prego. Changing poopy diapers is the worst some days lol! Pat is really good and sweet to help though, thankfully.

I have been able to stay pretty active so far and have barely had to modify my workouts. But I do need to take more breaks and drink more water during workouts. Since we found out I was this far along pregnant, that means I was pregnant when we went to Zion's and hiked for 3 days and did Angel's landing, so that is kind of fun!
I remember a couple of weeks before we found out I was pregnant Pat and I did a 6 mile hike and I was DYING! lol Now I know why!!! It's funny how fast you get out of breath when you are prego. Sometimes I get Brylianna ready for the day and have to stop and catch my breath lol.

I do find that on days I workout, even if I am feeling like absolute crap and have no energy before my workout, it ALWAYS helps :) It seems counter intuitive sometimes, but I am such a believer in being active! As long as I don't over do it, it gives me more energy and helps me to feel better. That being said, working out while raising a toddler and being pregnant, I eat a TON everyday. I eat 6-8 times a day. Pat is so sick of me asking him what I should eat. It is good and such a blessing that I can keep food down, but sometimes I am actually sick of eating because I eat so much, but I need to eat a lot or I start feeling not so good when I start to get hungry!

I have gained 6 pounds this pregnancy, with Brylianna I had gained about 10 pounds at this point. I am still eating a ton like I did with Brylianna but I think my beachbody workouts I have been doing have really helped me. And it is crazy because I actually felt like I was in the best shape of my life in like August-September and didn't know I was pregnant in September. I never would have thought I would be in better shape being just over a year post partum and pregnant than I was with our first baby!!! :)

We are excited for the Holidays and I can't wait to blog about more pregnancy updates! Yay for being pregnant again so that I could get back to blogging more regularly! lol!

Thanks for keeping up with us. Much love!!!! The Buhrs :)

Also this past week we got to go to a fun Christmas activity. We went to Layton to a cute burger place and had burgers with our good friends Alyssa and Scott and their two cute little girls and we went on a hayride to look at the Christmas lights around the city park. I loved it! I love doing Holiday things as a family and building those memories and traditions to cherish forever :)

Oh I love these two so much!!!
Movie night, we are in the middle of a Harry Potter marathon!

I crocheted you a little hat and I love how it turned out! You make everything look cute though

That happy little face
You still love to read :)

Spaghetti!

We still go on walks, but not quite as many since it is getting colder.

November 12, 2016

Yesterday you took 8 steps all by yourself! This is the farthest you have ever walked by yourself. Just a couple days ago was when you finally got brave enough to take a couple of steps by yourself. We have been trying to get you to walk for months! You love walking to mommy or daddy but it is just working up that balance and courage to take those steps! Good job baby girl!

The other day you were in your highchair in the kitchen and I was doing dishes and I turned around and you had grabbed a pillow from a nearby chair and laid it on your tray and laid your arms and your head on the pillow. It was soooooo cute! Apparently it was nap time.

You LOVE to read books :) I love that so much. You will grab a book and hold onto it and walk along the furniture or hold on to it and crawl over to me or your daddy and say "up" until we hold you on our lap and read. It is just adorable. I love it. And it is one of the only times you will sit still and cuddle now days :) We have read Dr. Suess's ABC book WAY too many times and we have it so memorized. It is your favorite. We also need to expand our book collection. We need more hard cover books that have pages that you can't tear. I have a feeling you will get some books for Christmas that is coming up.

You are so sweet, and cute, and curious, I just love it! Keep growing baby girl, but not too fast :)

Reading books

We love to go on walks and crochet with Brittany and Charles!
Hiking with mom

Playing in the leaves!
You love the sand. You just sit there and pull up handfuls with both hands and let it run through your fingers and do it all over again. It is so cute to watch you be curious and learn and have fun

14 Months

Brylianna dearest you are 14 months old today. You were born on the 6th AND on a Sunday :)
You are just the cutest and happiest baby girl ever still. You are starting to look more and more like a toddler and I just want to hold onto you forever and stop time :)
You still have 7 teeth
You are a momma's girl most the time. You still cry when I leave sometimes and you have started crying when I drop you off at nursery, but I know you really do love nursery.
You love other kids and babies still. You can say "baby" now and you say it so cutely. You call all other kids that even if they are older than you haha
You learned how to fold your arms in nursery and we pray everytime you fold your arms. You fold your arms when we sit down at the table and about 7 times throughout our meals and sometimes randomly during the day :) So we say lots of short prayers now which has actually been really awesome and helps us remember things we are grateful for.
You also say amen a lot of the times after a prayer. It is soooo cute and makes my momma heart happy.
You are super cuddly when you are tired and wrap your arms around me and it is adorable. Throughout the rest of the day you are a busy little girl and love exploring, making messes, and learning new things. You can say "up" when you want to be held and you say that a lot! Usually you say " up, up, up, up" several times right in a row.
You always giggle during prayers.
You can say "vroom vroom"
You are imitating so many things and you constantly amaze us at how smart you are.
You are mostly a champ at going up and down carpeted stairs now and like to do it just for fun again and again and again.
You blow kisses with one hand and with both hands sometimes
You always point to the picture of the Logan temple in your bedroom before a nap, so I am trying to teach you how to say temple.
You can stand for a couple seconds by yourself and still walk while holding onto something, but you are getting braver at trying to go to things farther away. You have taken a couple of steps, but always go right down to your knees because you know crawling is faster.
You still haven't really been sick except for last Christmas when you got your first cold which has been SUCH a blessing!
You don't like to be spoon fed baby food anymore and we don't blame you. We are trying to teach you to use a spoon.
You are the sweetest little angel and we are so glad we get to have you be a part of our family. We love you Brylianna!
You were the cutest little cow for Halloween

First pony ride :)

Our little aggie

We went on lots of walks this month. Aunty Paige and Grandma and Grandpa Hollien came and visited. We also got to see Aunt Kim, Uncle Jimmy and your cousins Savannah, Terrance, Conway, Adney, and Felise :) We went to the ward Halloween party and you seemed confused at all the people dressed up lol.

Our little 13 month old

Our beautiful Brylianna, we can't believe 13 months has gone by so quickly. It gives a new meaning to time. You are the happiest little girl and are quickly developing some personality, spunk, and learning how to throw baby tantrums haha I know that it is because you are trying so hard to communicate something most of the time though, and just can't. That must be frustrating. I will try to be more patient with you and think about things from your point of view.

You are still a pretty good baby though! You love all foods you have tried except for mashed potatoes, and pickles. We went to a restaurant with some friends a couple of weeks ago and you surprised us all and ate everyone's beets and loved them haha

You love peaches, bananas, and avocados!
You can now sign, more, all done, milk, and please. It is so cute. When you are tired sometimes you just start signing every sign you know haha. Also when daddy throws you up high in the air and catches you, when he catches you, you sign "more" it is so adorable!

I have nursed you since you were born and are down to one time a day and will be weaning you from that soon. You like whole milk and drank it like a champ the first time we gave it to you.

You are a momma's girl right now and love to be held and are super clingy. You cry often when I am not holding you. It is super cute and makes my heart melt and also sometimes makes it hard to get certain things done, but that is okay, I will try to cherish these moments because you will not always want me to hold you and I love every cuddle I get :)

You just got a walker and love it! You run into everything. You love to walk while holding our hands. Sometimes you will come over to me or your dad and grab each of our hands and cry until we get up and walk around with you :)

You sleep pretty good still. Usually 11-12 hours. Thank you!

When you start coughing you pat yourself on the chest. It is cute lol

We took a family trip to Zions and we camped for two nights and did a lot of hiking and you were so so good! It was so cute to watch you crawl around our tent and crawl all over us and lay your head on us and cuddle, even if we did't go to bed til 1am because of it. That was the first time we have ever co-slept with you.

You love being outside and going on walks. You love the grocery store most of the time. You are starting to not like your carseat right when we put you in it.

You get really frustrated when you can't figure out how to do something. But you are one determined little girl.

I love your crawl and will miss the sound of your little hands on our floor when you start walking.

You tickle my toes while I do the dishes. i am very ticklish

You have gone to nursery two or three times now and love it

You are better at saying "Dada" more instead of "Mama" (your first word) because we made such a big deal when you said "Dada" You say it so cute though

You wave and cry when Dad goes to work or class. You love to say "Dada" and smile at Dad when he is on the stand on Sundays in the Bishopric

We LOVE you!
Growing away

OH my goodness you loved crawling around and playing in this sand so much! It was like slightly damp. You got filthy but it was totally worth it cuz you were grinning the WHOLE entire time and crawling around as fast as you could. You would drag your hand in the sand and scoop up handfuls and just stare at it and open and close your hand. So cute!

A zonkey!

At the petting zoo, the goats were your favorite

Watching Sunday morning of General Conference
Our happy girl!
