6 Year Anniversary

Ah I can't believe Pat and I have been married for 6 years now! It is crazy how time flies sometimes. I love him so much and am grateful for him everyday. I am so happy that we can be sealed in the temple for time and all eternity. I can't even imagine marrying someone and hearing those words, til death do you part. I believe that we were not created for endings. That is why we don't seem to want good things to come to an end. At least that is what I think, I know I am always sad when something enjoyable comes to an end. That is why I am especially grateful for the gospel and the knowledge that families can be together forever.
This year we didn't have a lot of extra money but we always try to make anniversaries special, because they ARE a very special thing! I personally like celebrating anniversaries more than birthdays and stuff like that now just because it is such a special thing to me. So anyways, we decided to take a quick trip to Wendover this year because it was close by Pat's sister who babysat Brylianna for one night for us and because neither one of us had ever been there.
I think we saw pretty much everything Wendover had to offer haha. There isn't much there, we decided it is like a little mini vegas for senior citizens haha. We went during a weeknight. Everyone was astounded when we would tell them that we don't gamble, and I am proud to say we didn't gamble a single penny while we were there lol.
We walked around and looked at the different hotels and casinos and people watched. We ate at a cute buffet that I especially loved because they had fake palm trees everywhere and delicious fresh fruit. It was wonderful. I think it was called the Bimini buffet, or something like that. Then we looked around some more and went to a cute little park that was in town, they had a fun swing that was actually so high off the ground Pat's feet didn't even touch it. We sat there and talked for a while, then it got kinda windy.
While we were walking around we saw that there was a pool and some hot tubs at several of the other hotels and we went hot tubbing at one of them. There wasn't anyone else using them so we figured someone might as well. The one we went to had 3 different hot tubs, so we took our pick, and they were on a rooftop, so we got to sit and enjoy the hot tub on the rooftop while the sun was setting. It was a nice evening. It wasn't technically the hotel we were staying at, but we heard that some of the hotels let you kind of hope between a couple different ones and use their amenities, also no one else was using them like I mentioned so we felt like it was a waste of a good hot tub if it was just sitting there haha.
Also it was funny because we didn't really notice that part of the city was in Utah and part of it was in Nevada so we kept confusing what the time actually was because you would go to one part of town and it was an hour ahead, and then go to the other part of town and you were an hour behind lol.
We were just there the one night and then came back and picked up Brylianna, it was funny how much we both missed her! It was good to have some time together though, but we were both anxious to get back to our baby girl!
Brylianna did really good while we were gone ( she had a good babysitter :) ) When we were loading stuff up though she started crying everytime we would walk out the door to put something in the car. It was kinda nice to know that I guess she did miss us!
Love you Pat, and I am so glad that you are my eternal companion, you are a wonderful husband and father and I am so glad that we can go anywhere and have a good time together and I am excited for all of the memories and adventures we will continue to have together.

We do realize this looks cooler at night lol,

We are both wearing our Park city t-shirts which we got during our 4 year anniversary trip, we have now had so many anniversaries they sometimes blur together and we have to sit and think about which one was which year haha It is great

Very cute

I liked the palm trees and big tv that kept playing ocean scenes and sounds on it
