We are getting settled into our new house and so grateful for all the help we have had lately. We love our new home and all of the space we have. It is a big adjustment moving so rural and far away from everything especially where we have lived so close to family the past year and a half. It is a hard change for the sweet kiddos too. But young kids are so happy wherever you take them. It is the sweetest thing ever and they are so precious and pure and trusting and sweet .
We see deer in our yard everyday. There are hundreds of them on the road out here especially towards night time. We have seen a bunny out our back window several times. We see bald eagles often. We hear the coyotes howling late at night and sometimes they keep us up.
I am having fun making our new house into a home and decorating it. On the flip side I feel like it is pointless sometimes cuz no one ever comes to our house though lol and the kids trash it again every single day. But whatever such is life right?
I know this time of our lives is precious with our sweet little ones at such sweet ages, and we need to enjoy all the moments but it also is hard cuz it is a lot of work and loneliness and long days. It is also frustrating cuz I feel like it is just me and the kids all the time which I know I'll miss one day and I love being able to be around their precious spirits but I get sick of it being just us too. Yes I could hang out with other moms more but I still have to drive half an hour both ways to do that too. Or go to the store or to eat out etc. But there are pros and cons to every place you live and I need to be a little better at focusing on the positive.
