Alaska day

At sweet Pat's idea he planned a way fun day for my dad.
We surprised him and took him up to a reservoir by Jordanelle that doesn't allow fishing but Pat got special permisiper to let my dad fish there . It is full of huge rainbow trout and together trout. And my dad caught the biggest rainbow trout he has ever caught in his life there. Since they normally don't allow fishing the fish got unusually huge!
He had so much fun and was so happy. It was saying beautiful day bit the wind was a bit chilly. Corbin and Brylianna did sooo good! I was super anxious being out on the dock by water with a active non careful 3 yr old but it all worked out .
And then we went and had a snack at the Jordanelle event center which was beautiful.
A couple weeks ago my dad mentioned how he missed floating the river and fishing in Alaska and how he loved to eat pilot crackers and spam and easy cheese cuz it all stayed good when he would pack it for flost trips.
So I ordered pilot crackers and we brought all the stuff to eat that very same snack. 🙂 My sad said that I got the exact kind they sold at the Anchorage store and I thought that was way cool cuz there were a lot to choose from when I picked them out. It was way fun. Pat took us on a tour of Jordanelle too.
Then we surprised Pat with tickets to the Byu Usu football game that night with my dad and brother and Jamie and a couple other people. So they got to go to that and Paige and my mom and I hung out at the house. It was a very wonderful day.
