Moving out of our First Apartment

It was bittersweet to move out of out tiny little apartment in Logan. It has been our home for the past 7 years ever since we got married. We started our married lives here, brought two beautiful babies home from the hospital here and into our family. We go two degrees here. Met SO many wonderful people and made some great friends. And we have had so many fun adventures, hikes, walking trails, gone to parks, zoos, yummy restaurants, had fun visiting Bear Lake, Crystal Hot springs, and exploring Logan canyon. We have made so many memories here, it is hard to leave. Cache Valley will forever hold a place in our hearts.

Watching tv and not helping pack. We stayed up late and taught her how to play hide and seek :)

He isn't helping pack either

Last family photo in our first apartment, it looks so empty

Saying goodbye to our apartment

We helped lay sod at my parents and Pat did a TON of work on the yard before Paige and Jamie's reception. It looked beautiful

Handsome little cutie

She always makes him smile

This cutie rolled over at about 2 and a half months old. I missed it cuz I was taking a batch of cookies out of the oven, the little sneakster

Colorado Buhr Reunion 2017

We went to Colorado for Pat's family reunion this year. They have one every two years. Corbin was only 6 weeks old. We were a bit nervous for the 8 hour car ride with both kiddos but they both did pretty darn good. We made record time especially considering the construction and we needed to because we were trying to make it to the Bar D wranglers. We made it just in time and met Kim and her family and Pat's parents there. It was a super fun night , and they had this adorable little playground that all of the kids loved! There was a cute little merry go round thing made out of rocking horses and Brylianna loved it.

We camped for 5 days and one night there was the biggest thunderstorm I have ever experienced it rained quite a bit and it was SOOO loud! Especially in a tent. The ground shook and the lightening was so bright it lit up the whole tent. We were lucky and only got a couple of small puddles in our tent but otherwise stayed pretty dry. And I couldn't believe the kids both pretty much slept through it.
It was fun to see everyone in Pat's family and the family reunion place. They had a zipline that Brylianna could go on by herself with little harness and she looked so darn cute. She was scared the first time but loved it after that. She called it Flying :) I did the zipline too!
The trip went pretty good and Corbin was the best happy little camper ever. He enjoyed all of the baby cuddles he got from everyone too. If I ever camped with a newborn I think he was definitely the right one to go camping with! And Brylianna was super cute we would tell her to go to sleep in the tent at night and she would say okay and very enthusiastically lay down in her pack n play and pretend to snore haha
I did get sick the last night and day but otherwise it was a lot of fun.
Pat had also done a lot of work at Rik and Liz's property where the reunion was so it was neat for him to be able to show me everything that he had been working on.

Brylianna had a blast but was getting tired as you can tell

So sweet

Brylianna loved playing in and riding in the Gator. With cute cousin Zeke :)

Cousin Heidi was such a good helper

We brought the laptop and Moana for Brylianna to watch on the long drive back.

Summer 2017

Things have been crazy lately!
Corbin is such a good little baby! He is a good eater and loves to sleep during the day, but is getting better at sleeping at night. He woke up every 2 hours at night for the first 8 weeks pretty much. He is now 2 months old and is starting to give really adorable smiles. Brylianna makes him smile super big. He also snores pretty loud and he also breathe, eats, sleeps, and poops loud for that matter!
We have to remind Brylianna to be soft with him and not to poke him in the eyes! Corbin is a big baby boy and at his checkup he was already 13 lbs 9oz and 25 inches long! That's half as much as Brylianna weighs at almost 2 haha!

Brylianna will give Corbin kisses on the head and hold him occasionally and it is really cute though. And when he sneezes she say bless you brother. And when he cried she says Hold on buddy. (I must say that a lot)

Having 2 kids is an adjustment because I feel like one or both of them ALWAYS need me! It can be a bit stressful and busy but I always try to remember that one day I am going to miss being needed so much and being the one to hold and cuddle and nurture their troubles away ❤️ And Pat is pretty sweet about trying to give me a break every now and then. I am so grateful he has been around so much! It has been such a blessing to me and the kiddos both love seeing him.

Here is a bit more of what is going on and I will make other posts about the details!

Life is going by so fast lately I need to remind myself to just slow down and enjoy this stage instead of always looking forward and focusing on what is to come. I need to just be happy with wherever we are at because we have what matters most in life and that is family! ❤️
First time taking the double stroller out at 10 days postpartum. I love Brylianna's happy little face in this picture :)

He is the sweetest

At Bearlake!  Pat and Brylianna went one day before I did with Kim's family and then Corbin and I and came up with Lori the next day.

Sweet baby cuddles. Too bad I can't go swimming yet cuz I was only 2 weeks postapartum!

Cuddling both my babies :)

There is something so precious about baby bath time in the sink

He falls asleep everytime we try to give him tummy time

Someone found something fun! ( Pat sent me this pic when I was getting my hair done)
I got my hair highlighted and I love it
She found some dirt to play in

Fun family date night at the Drive in. We watched Despicable me 3 and Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2. We thought Brylianna would fall asleep but she stayed awake for both movies!! 5 hours past bedtime. And she layed on the air mattress
at  the back of the truck on her tummy right at the edge of the tailgate and waved and said Hi to everyone that walked by lol
