Brylianna our sweet girl

Brylianna our sweet girl. You are at such a fun stage right now. You are 28 months old. You are such a cute little girl.
You moved into a big girl bed on Christmas. You love your purple toddler bed.
You love pasta, mini oranges, cereal and milk, fruit roll-ups, fruit snacks and candy.
You love movies. Especially Moana and Chitty chitty bang band and you love Dora the explorer tv episodes.
You love swings and slides at the park.
You started music class at Aunty Kim's and you love it so much!
Your favorite songs: Twinkle twinkle little star, I am my own grandpa, Nephi's courage, Daddy's homecoming, The Abc's, I am a child of God, songs from Moana, and Frosty the Snowman, you also dances really cute when songs come on.
You love to do somersaults. (You put your hands and head on the ground and then fall over sideways pretty much)
You love to play on playgrounds. We took you to an indoor playground the other month and you loved it.
You love your cousins and your grandparents and Aunts and Uncles.
You love play dough.
You like to draw and color
You love swimming in grandpa and grandma Buhr's hot tub.
You love going to the store and one grocery store we go to has little kid green shopping carts and you love them and pushing one through the store and putting all of the fruit roll ups you can fit into it.
Some funny things you say/have said:
You use the word mine a lot, "Where is mine mommy?" " Look at mine hand"
You always used to say " You came back!" when we leave and come back
You used to run up and give us leg hugs and say " I missed you too" randomly and when we were gone and came back
You say " Can I hold you?" Every time you want us to pick you up
The other day we asked you if you had to go poop and you said " No. Just juicy beans" That is what it sounded like and we all bust up laughing, but you were actually trying to say, no, I'm just skipping. Cuz you were skipping around the room with Daddy haha
Pat calls Corbin Chubbers and the other day we were all sitting on the couch together and I was looking at cake recipes and you saw pictures of it and you turned to Corbin and said " Do you want some cakes, Chubbers?" And we all laughed for a long time and thought it was pretty funny.
You  pronounce Corbin as Poordin
You have the sweetest little voice just after you wake up
You say really long sentences for age like " I want mommy to put me to bed" You communicate very well and speak very well, we hardly ever can't tell what you are saying.
You are so smart
You can count to 10 but lately for some reason you have been saying 1, 2, 8, 7 over and over when you count.
You say forever a lot but don't know what it means. Like: " I want to eat cereal forever" " I am done, forever" " I want to hold you forever" It is kinda cute sometimes.
You like working out with mommy and ask if we can work out some days.
You LOVE church and nursery and ask if we can go to church like everyday.
You are very good at recognizing people and learning their names.
You always try to include everyone and ask where they are if they aren't present.
You love talking on the phone to grandma's and grandpa's and Aunt Paige especially
You love your daddy and went through a phase where you only wanted him most of the time.
Right now you want mommy to put you to bed everynight though
You went through a phase where you cried everytime I went to work and said " Mine mommy went away" It was pretty much heartbreaking.
You are the sweetest little girl. We love you so much. You have your moments of tantrums and misbehaving but for the most part you are the sweetest little girl ever! We are so grateful to have you in our life Brylianna we love you so much!

Corbin is 7 months old

Our sweet baby boy Corbin, you are 7 months old! How did you get that big so fast. You took your first two consecutive crawls the day before you turned 7 months old. You can also belly scoot like a champ pretty fast and get to where you want to go.
I will get down on the floor and you will belly scoot right over to me and keep running into me until I pick you up. It is adorable. And you will try to follow me where ever I go. When you are sad of being on the floor you look at me and belly scoot towards me and cry until I pick you up. You are just the cutest, happiest, smiley, sweetest baby boy ever! We are so lucky to have you in our lives. You are a light in our lives and I thank God for sending you to our little family. In spite of you not sleeping consistently through the night yet, you are such a good baby.
You still fall asleep in our arms but it's getting a bit harder if there is a lot of noise or something going on.
You are a poop machine and go through tons of diapers.
You giggle pretty good. You giggle when Daddy throws you in the air. You get super giggly when you are really tired and just before falling asleep, mommy gets the best sweet smiles and giggles at those times!
When you smile your whole entire body lights up and you have the cutest toothless grin. People always talk about what a good smile you have!
You are a great baby in the car on car rides and in your car seat. You stare out the window or sleep most the time.
In your lifetime so far you have been to Colorado ( an 8 hour car ride), we lived in Logan and went to Bear lake, back and forth from Logan to Tooele when we moved, back and forth from Stansbury to Salt lake several times, and we are going to St. George this month! You are such a great baby to travel with so far.
01/16/2017 Today 3 days after you turned 7 months old you crawled a ton. Your longest crawl streak that I counted was 9 crawls long! I also put you in the tv room and went the bathroom and when I came out I couldn't see you and you were in a completely different room in a far corner! You are getting so fast!

You have tried, bananas, applesauce, formula, mostly breastmilk fed though, sweet potatoes, green beans, mango, beef, and a berry applesauce mix, and banana baby puffs. You love everything  you have eaten so far.
You are still the smiliest cutest baby boy there ever was! You have such a sweet spirit and we love you so much sweet little Corbin. Happy 7 months of life :)

Candy barrels, Ferris wheels, and food

We went on a fun family outing Winco and let Brylianna and her Thomas cousins pick out candy from all the candy barrels they have there and we went to Scheels. Hey it is a fun cheap, winter outing! Brylianna got to go on her first Ferris Wheel ride too ( Even though she was barely too short for the 36 inch heigth requirement) and Pat was sweet and held Corbin so that I could go with her her first time. We went with Pat's parents, Kim and her family and Paige and Jamie met us there too. I love being close to family and being able to do fun things and make fun memories with them. We also got spoiled and went out to Chuck a rama afterwards. It was a fun day filled with candy, fun, and memories. :)

New Years Eve 2017

For Christmas Pat put an envelope on the tree and labeled it to me and inside were some reservations for a little getaway at a nice hotel. It was so super sweet and definitely one of my main love languages, (well it was gifts, and quality time) :) It was so nice. I was super excited. I love him so much. 

He arranged for his sweet sister to watch our kiddos overnight and we got to spend some time together. It was our first overnight away from Corbin, which is always hard, but it was good to spend some time together. 

We ate at this cute burger place that had really skinny fries. The food was delicious though. Our hotel was cute too and our room and it's own tiny little kitchen that I thought was adorable. It also had a heated pool and hot tub and some cute little outdoor fireplaces. 

We celebrated the New Years with chocolate milk and nachos. We used to have nachos as midnight snacks all the time after Brylianna was born, we would have at home date nights and play card, board, or dice games and eat a whole pan of nachos after she would go down for bed. It was our way of having cheap date nights for a long time. 

We also always make and write down New Years Resolutions. For each of us and as a family. I think goals are an important thing in life that sometimes get overlooked. I think everyone needs goals and dreams. I used to hate January and taking down all of the Christmas stuff and moving on but now I love this time of year to regroup, and try to be a better person and make goals to focus on what matters most to you. 

We aren't perfect. We disagree, we get frustrated, we have ups and downs, but we also try to be better. We love, we laugh, we cry and we are always still learning, forgiving, and doing it all over again even after being married for 7 years. I am lucky to have such a sweet husband and have him to go through this crazy adventure of life and raising small humans with. I wouldn't want anyone else. I am so grateful for Pat and all that he does for our little family and for me.
